The update adds four new insert slots per layer, expanding the FX chain from three to seven slots per layer. You can choose from 64 effect types, including reverbs, delays, chorus, phasers, and more. The modulation engine gains five additional modulation matrix slots per layer, totaling 20 new slots. A visual target icon next to envelopes and LFOs simplifies drag-and-drop modulation routing, and LFO speed can now be adjusted directly by clicking the frequency display.
Sound quality receives a substantial boost with smoother reverb roll-off, reduced phasing, and deeper spatial imaging. Reverbs (hall, room, infinity, cathedral, big) and delays (band, diffuse) feature improved stereo fields and better default values. Psychoacoustic processing and the equalizer now operate in 64-bit precision for higher accuracy. Microtuning mode “Fat tune clean” delivers more stable major and minor chords.
Additional enhancements include increased FFT precision for more accurate resampling and a refined user interface with clearer visual feedback.
